Keichu-Do Karate style founder Karl William Marx (Senior), PhD, the Grandmaster of Keichu-Do/Keichu-Ryu is recognized internationally as the final authority for all matters having to do with Keichu-Do. International martial-arts groups recognize Keichu-Do as a unique and different style of Karate invented in America. Keichu-Do Karate is not oriental by nature, but is an original creation of this American inventor.

Over the many decades during which Karl W. Marx (Sr.) has taught his unique "Cajun Karate" style, there have been countless invitations to speak, teach, and perform inside the U.S. and in other countries. Here you will find a sampling of documents awarded to the designer of the first purely American style of Karate.

Mr. Marx (Sr.) and the other members of the Keichu-Do Karate organization hope that you will find this documentation helpful as you choose to learn from a valid and proven school of martial arts. We understand that it can be hard to make a wise and informed decision about whom to trust with your time and effort. Authorized teachers of Keichu-Do want to help you make the best choice possible and are held to the highest standards by the Grandmaster himself, and other organization members. Once you start to learn the art of Keichu-Do Karate you can relax, with us as your family! All Keichu-Do American Karate schools try their best to be family friendly, and every dojo is a great place for kids to learn family values in a family safe environment.
