Fighting For Family Values

So here I am again. In Anxiety? Right! I always seem to become intellectually inclined when I'm fighting off an anxiety attack. Also my prayer life increases tremendously. Many of you readers might disagree with the intellectual aspect of my opinion and that's all right, you might be correct, however here we go anyway. These day's there is a lot of talk about Family Values. Dear God! Help us to truly understand what the real meaning of Family and Values are. The first thing we might consider is, just what a Family might be. Father, Mother, Brother, Sister, then there are the Cousins, and the in laws. At Church, there are the Christian Brothers and Sisters in Christ. In many cases these individuals are considered family.

OK! So we have a family, however, many family members don't like each other. So what's with that? Then there are those within the so-called family who perpetrate all kinds of illicit obscenities on their fellow members. Molestation's on fellow family members, no wonder there are so many dis-functional families around. This is not to say that ALL families are messed up. Why there are many husband and wives who have been married 35 to 60 years. Now that is living. I respect that more than an Olympic Gold Medal winner or a World champion. Just think of the values in that kind of relationship. Wow! That deserves our respect. Many people are the result of their experiences in their life. A child who has no father at home and a mother that has to be a hooker to pay for the drug habit she acquired to be able to do that for a living.

Depression likes to appear to those with broken home backgrounds. It affects our spirits, like a hole in a tire that allows the air to leak out. Joy is our air. Anyone living without joy in their lives is not living, they are just existing. I should know! I have lived like that too many years in my life. It wasn't until I met Jesus Christ, yep! That's what I said. You can take it, or leave it, believe it or not, the choice is yours. But the truth is that Christ is the answer to all our problems. So what's with this Jesus kick you ask? I can't even begin to teach you about that. It's an experience. A kind of Holy Spirit rush. Words can never explain the felling; you must have IT happen to you personally, WOW! A kind of Wonder Of Wonders.

This Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit is a genuine real happening. Joy is restored, depression lessened, or totally lifted. The real deal is that it works over and over. AS a former substance abuser I can tell you that NOTHING man made can possibly come close to it. I get depressed, I don't go to the bottle or smoke a joint, nor do I pop a pill. I go to prayer, yes you read it right, and that is no type error. Except for the way to spell when someone has already finished reading something. Well, anyway the word and meaning of the term family has a lot to be desired, in some cases. I am not speaking religion here, just speaking plain and true.

Family Values have a certain ring about it. Christians stand behind that. Well, at least a lot of us claim to. However what is the value? The question needs to be answered. What might be closer to the truth is the word Morals; Family MORALS HAS A MORE DISTINCT RING TO IT? The value of something may vary from object to object, but morals are never changing according to Almighty God. So here is the solution, Morals! But were these morals? Man is ever searching for the Truth, asking himself "who am I" or telling himself and the World "I didn't ask to be born" stupid statements such as "why was I born," or "why me?" All this just to say that the confusing minds of our day are kept there by in many cases the lack of morals.

If a child is brought up in the way he or she is supposed to be, what then? Who decides what is right or wrong? In days gone by most of what was considered proper behavior was taken from the values learned in the Bible. Now what? It was generally taken that having sex out side of marriage was a no, no. A Taboo! It was not socially acceptable behavior. Getting pregnant was an absolute evil. However as the morals of families crumpled with the slow death of modern social correctness, demanded by those who resist Christianity New Age Theology fills empty heads. Take God out of the classroom of public schools and Chaos will begin. Take the law out of our Nation and you get the same results.

This is not conjecture; this is factual proven empirical, (done that, been there) information. A father hates his son who is a homosexual. However it's OK for this father to commit adultery. At least in the dad's mind. What's up with that? Family values? Ha! What values? It's just great if his other son has sex with a girlfriend, but don't let his daughter admit to having sex with he boyfriend, Man the roof goes off the house. What kind of double standards is that? How does anyone trust his or her spouse? If there are low or no moral values what is to help keep us out of extra marital affairs?

What grounds do we have to determine if a hold up is really against the law? People who charge exorbitant prices for gasoline at the filling stations.
