Words of Wisdom
March 17th 2006 is a day I will not forget soon. My mother was operated on this morning and no cancer was found. The power of prayer ounce more proved to be a positive force. God is alive and well. With so much do today I was beside myself. I was supposed to attend a Clinic in another nearby city, I had a supper to attend at Church and a family Church get together afterwards. How could I do everything? Make the bank payments, mail the DVD’s, Make business bank deposits; this was driving me to an anxiety attack. My darling wife God Bless her could tell I was becoming unraveled, and was so supporting. Kathy encouraged me not to stay there at the hospital.
She knew I would be better off and certainly more useful doing at least some of the things that really needed to be done. As it turned out I was able to get everything done except the out of town Martial art clinic. I was even able to pick up my Medication that I was out of and the dog food for our two ladies Nutmeg the Pit Bull, and Bonny our sweet Doberman Pincher. Kathy has this seemingly sixth sense that knows what to do before it’s time to do it. Thus when it’s time to do it, HA! it has been done. What a woman. Yep! I love her.
By taking most of the stress out of my day I was able to complete what needed to be done. I know any other son would probably insisted on staying by his mother’s bedside for those long 12 hours. His wife would nag him to be a good son and guiltersize him. (I just made up that word I think) My dear little old mom has Alzheimer's and doesn’t even know who I am most of the time. But knowing my mom from the past, she would have told me to do the same thing. Consideration and thinking of the other person are strong personalities are what my wife and mom have.
