Pastor Karl has personally experienced the results as a victim of anxiety and panic attacks for the past 27 years. and that certainly qualifies Marx as an authorith on the subject. Here he has written many of his experiences as he suffered through them. This book should help the many thousands of sufferes of this terrible dis-ease. Notice I did not say disease. Rather it is a very uncomfortable ill at ease experience (dis-ease). Reading how doctor Marx deals with some of his attacks is helpful to other anxieties. A few close friends who are also Christian Martial Artists have added their thoughts concerning how Keichu self-defense has hel[ped them. It is hoped that in the sharing of these thoughts, the reader will be blessed and encouraged in the reading. Remember it will pass.

MARTIAL ART SPIRIT
Unlike other men of great abilities and supreme accomplishments, he is a nobody . . . and inconsequential former slime-ball, good for nothing loser, with no future other than hell and damnation. A disillusioned, disgruntled, dissatisfied youth, who grew into a very dangerous adult. After divorcing his first wife, Marx became involved with Cajun mafia as a pimp. Later he worked his way up to bar room bouncer, bodyguard, fraud boss, and he was even considered to be a hired killer hit man . And then his criminal world crumbled. The Louisana Grand Jury attempting to get enough evidence to arrest and convict him, and a hit man ready to pop a cap in his head. Despite all the evil that Marx committed, God forgave him and is using him to spread the gospel in his outeach in California.
MARTIAL ARTS THERAPY A large state-sponsored school for mentally hadicapped childre and youth provides extensive programs of sports, hobbies, social activities, art and music for recreation and therapy. Elderly residents in a nursing home enjoy hobbies, discussion groups, entertainment, bingo, singing and crafts. In the psychiatric ward of a municipal hospital, patients are involved in a variety of individual and group activities, including creative dancing, cooking, games and outings. Physically disabled children attend summer camp with facilities specially designed for their use. For all this is worth - I admit much good is accomplished - it would bore me to death. Just think of what a full course of Martial Arts program could do for all the above people. In thousands of settings around the United States and Canada, groups of children, youth and adults with varied kinds of disabilities could be provided with specially trainned, planned and directed Martial Arts Therapeutic Recreational Services. Over the next two decades, this new field will become an important tool of rehibilitation and a key of specialization within the board of Professional Recreation.
